Meet & Greet
At Grantley Adams International Airport we have two “Meet and Greet” concessions located in the Arrivals terminal pre-immigration that provide fast-track services at Immigration and Customs. The two entities, St. James Travel and Tours and Caribbean International Airways Limited can be contacted for further information using the information below.








Visitors to Barbados are asked to observe that in addition to airline and air travel regulations there are strict and enforced regulations on certain items which may not be brought into the island. These items are prohibited by law and penalties may be enforced. Please take note and follow these guidelines below:
Entry requirements for Barbados.
At GAIA our airport porters are easily distinguished by their caps, which are red, and that is why we call them – that’s right – Red Caps. They stand ready to assist you in your arrivals and departures, ensuring that your luggage is ably conveyed.
There are cambios located in the departures lounge and arrivals terminal. The opening hours for those in the Departures Lounge are 5:00 am – 9:00 pm daily, including bank holidays. Services offered include selling of travellers’ cheques and cash exchanges for both local and foreign currencies.
Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) are located throughout the departures terminal in the public area and after the security checkpoint in the retail shopping mall. Only Barbados currency is dispensed. The ATMs take Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express.
The post office is located in the public area of the departures terminal. Passengers and visitors to GAIA can mail letters and packages, as well as purchase stamps or packaging materials. The opening hours are Mondays 8:00 am – 3:00 pm, Tuesdays to Fridays 8:00 am – 3:15 pm.
