Prequalified Bidders Descriptions (August 2020)
1. Companhia de Participações em Concessões S.A - Brazil. Companhia de Participações em Concessões (CPC) operates as the strategic arm of Grupo CCR, one of the largest infrastructure concession companies in Latin America. They are a long-term investor in four airports in Latin America including Ecuador, Curacao, Costa Rica and Brazil which serve over 23 million passengers annually.
2. Corporación Aeroportuaria del Este SAS – Dominican Republic . Corporación Aeroportuaria del Este SAS (CAE) owns and operates the Punta Cana International Airport, which is the first international private airport worldwide. It has the highest passenger traffic and destinations served in the Dominican Republic and the second busiest airport in the Caribbean serving more than 7.6 million passengers in 2019.
3. Corporación Americas Airports SA – Luxembourg. Corporación Americas operates airport and cargo terminals in 52 airports of Latin America and Europe including Argentina, Uruguay and Armenia. Their activities span airport operations and commercial management, as well as fuelling, cargo, and related services, handling 84.2 million passengers and 422 tonnes of cargo in 2019.
4. daa International Limited – Ireland. daa International offers the full range of airport operational management services with over 40 million passengers travelling through their airports. daa operates Dublin and Cork airports both located in Ireland and the daa group is active in 16 countries.
5. EGIS – France. Egis operates 17 airports, in 7 countries across 4 continents of Europe, South America, Africa and Oceania, serving over 30 million passengers and handling more than 330,000 tonnes of freight in 2019.
Bouygues Construction Airport Concessions (in consortium with EGIS) – France Bougues’ core business is construction. They have developed quality airport projects teaming up with leading operators, leveraging their Design-Build experience.
Eppley Limited (in consortium with EGIS) – Jamaica Eppley Limited is a Jamaica-based investment company focused on private markets and real estate within the Caribbean.
Jamaica Producers Group (in consortium with EGIS) – Jamaica JPG is a diversified group headquartered in Kingston, Jamaica and founded in 1929 as a shipping line and trading company serving the UK and the Caribbean.
6. Ferrovial - Spain. Ferrovial Airports has more than 20 years’ experience investing, developing and operating 33 airports around the world. They own a portfolio of four airports in the United Kingdom including a 25% stake in Heathrow Airport, the busiest hub in Europe and a 50% stake in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Southampton airports.
7. Groupe ADP - France. Groupe ADP (formerly Aéroports de Paris), is a world leader in airport design, construction and operation. They operated directly or indirectly under concession or management contract, a network of 24 airports worldwide in 2019, serving 246.7 million passengers, including the ownership and management of three main Paris airports.
8. Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte – Mexico. Grupo Aeroportuario Centro Norte, S.A.B. de C.V., known as OMA, is a Mexican airport operator, which operates 13 airports in the central and northern states of Mexico, including that of Monterrey, one of Mexico's largest cities. It is the fourth largest airport services company by passenger traffic in Mexico.
9. Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico S.A.B. de C.V. – Mexico. Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, S.A.B. de C.V. (GAP) operates 12 airports throughout Mexico’s Pacific region. It is the second largest airport company in Mexico serving 27.8 million passengers in 2019. GAP also owns a majority stake in MBJ Airports Limited, which operates Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, Jamaica and a concession for Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston, Jamaica.
10. Incheon International Airport Corporation – South Korea. Incheon International Airport Corporation operates the Seoul–Incheon International Airport – the largest airport in South Korea and one of the largest and busiest airports in the world, with more than 70 million passengers in 2019.
11. Schiphol Nederland B.V. – Amsterdam. Schiphol Nederland B.V. is part of the Royal Schiphol Group whose primary activities include operation of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. In addition, they own and operate Rotterdam The Hague Airport, Lelystad Airport and a majority share in Eindhoven Airport. In 2019, its Dutch airports served 80.5 million passengers and processed 1.57 million tonnes of cargo.
12. Vantage Airport Group – Canada. Vantage Airport Group has worked at more than 30 airports on four continents. Vantage has a current portfolio of ten airports worldwide, including operation and management of airports in Canada, Cyrus, Nassau, Bahamas, Montego Bay, Jamaica, New York’s La Guardia Airport and Chicago, Illinois. It served more than 57 million passengers in 2018.
13. VINCI Airports – France . VINCI Airports develops, finances, builds and operates multiple airports globally. In 2019 VINCI had a presence in 12 countries including the UK, US and Dominican Republic, operating 45 airports, and handling 255 million passengers.
Williams Industries Inc. (in consortium with VINCI) – Barbados Williams Industries is a diversified Caribbean conglomerate based in Barbados. It controls many wholly and joint venture companies in Barbados, St. Lucia and other Caribbean islands with interests including electrical engineering, construction, waste recycling, real estate development and tourism.
